🛒 Ordering & Subscriptions
Do I need the Starter Kit?
Yes. It's a one-time purchase with reusable tools your child will use month after month. Every new kit build on it.
When will I be billed?
You're billed at checkout for your first box. After that, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each month for the following month's box.
For example:
Monthly subscription: If you sign up on October 15, you'll pay at checkout. Your first box ships by November 10, and your next renewal happens on November 30 for the December box.
3-month subscription: If you sign up on October 15, you'll pay for all 3 boxes at checkout. Your first box ships by November 10, and your subscription will renew on January 30 for the next 3 months.
When will my first box ship?
All boxes ship once a month, before the 10th. Your first box depends on when you subscribe.
For example:
- Sign up on October 15 → your first box will ship by November 10.
- Sign up on October 30 → your first box still ships by November 10.
- Sign up on November 1 → your first box will ship by December 10.
After that, each new box will ship by the 10th of the month, as long as your subscription is active.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. You can manage your subscription anytime through your customer portal. For monthly subscriptions, you can cancel before your next renewal date, and you won’t be billed again. For prepaid subscriptions (3, 6, or 12 months), your subscription is non-refundable once purchased, but you’ll continue to receive all the boxes you paid for.

📦 What’s Inside the Kits
What comes in each monthly kit?
Every kit includes the materials you need for hands-on math play, plus clear parent guidance.
Inside you'll find 7 activities: 5 themed, hands-on math games and 2 reusable Grab & Go practice pages in a dry erase sleeve for repeat use.
How many activities are included?
Each month brings 7 total activities. That's enough variety to spread across the month, but designed so you can repeat and revisit them as often as your child wants.
Can I use this for multiple kids?
Yes! The reusable tools and games are designed for repeat play, so siblings can take turns or join in together.
What ages are the kits designed for?
The kits are created for children ages 4-6, and they align closely with kindergarten math standards. Because the activities include som small parts, we recommend them for ages 4+ with adult supervision.
Some families may choose to adapt the activities for a younger child, but please note this is at your own discretion and always with close supervision.
Do the themes repeat or are they different each month?
Each month is fresh! Every kit has a new theme and a new math focus, so your child gets variety and keeps building skills over time.
🎓 Learning & Parent Support
What math skills will my child learn?
Each kit is built around a key kindergarten math standard, so your child will practice the skills that matter most for ages 4-6. Across the year, kids explore number sense, addition and subtraction, shapes, sorting, measurement, and more. This isn't just counting over and over — you'll see a wide range of math concepts.
How are the activities designed?
Every activity is hands-on, playful, and research-based. Instead of worksheets, kids use real objects, games, and stories to make math concrete and memorable. Activities are short and engaging (can be done in 5-10 minutes or extended) so they fit into real family life.
I'm not a teacher — will I know how to guide my child?
Yes! Each kit comes with a simple parent guide that shows you exactly how to set up and play. You don't need teaching experience — everything is planned and prepped for you, so you can focus on having fun together.
How do you make sure activities fit different learning levels?
Every activity includes Buffers, Boosts, and Bonuses — quick adjustments that make the game easier, more challenging, or a little different. That means you can adapt each activity to fit your child's needs and revisit it as their skills grow.
💡 About Math in Reach
What makes Math in Reach different from other subscription boxes?
Many boxes mix in a little math alongside one-time crafts, early reading practice, or general worksheets. Math in Reach is different — it's all about math and built around reusable, hands-on activities that kids can play again and again.
Each month targets an essential early math skill, so you know your child is learning what matters most, not just staying busy.
Why are the materials reusable?
There's nothing worse than finding an activity your kid loves and not being able to do it again! We want math to be explored deeply, not done once and tossed aside. Our reusable tools let your child return to activities throughout the month, building confidence through repetition and discovery.
How do you decide what skills to cover each month?
Each kit is aligned with kindergarten math standards and carefully sequenced to balance variety and progression. You'll see a wide range of concepts — number sense, operations, shapes, measurement, and data — woven into playful themes so kids stay engaged while covering the foundations they'll need for school success.
Who created Math in Reach?
Math in Reach was created by a longtime educator and parent who has been a classroom teacher, school administrator, and now trains math tutors. With years of experience helping kids and adults understand how children learn math, I designed these kits to give families the same tools: math that's doable, hands-on, and confidence-building.
